Why Wood Wicks?

Wood wicks bring an entirely different vibe compared to traditional cotton wicks. When lit, they create a soft crackling sound that’s reminiscent of a cozy fireplace. The flame burns wide and warm, giving your room not only fragrance but ambiance. Add in their sleek, modern look, and you’ve got a candle that feels like a true centerpiece.

Testing for Perfection

Not all wood wicks are created equal. The right combination of wick, jar, and wax is key to a safe, beautiful burn. We’ve been experimenting with our Wicked Blend wax across multiple vessels — ensuring every test candle burns evenly, crackles properly, and delivers that strong, signature scent throw you expect from Wicked Redhead.

Each test involves hours of burn trials, trimming checks, and fragrance performance notes. It’s part science, part art — and all passion.

We’re excited to share that wood wick versions of our Wicked Blend Luxury Candles will be launching soon! Whether you love the gentle hiss of the crackle, or you’re simply curious about how wood wicks transform your candle ritual, you won’t have to wait much longer.
